Beauty Courses

In the UK there are 4,800 beauty salons and 36,000 hairdressing salons - 5,800 of which offer beauty therapy treatments (particularly those in hotels and leisure centres). There has been significant growth in the number of independent nail salons, spa facilities and beauty therapy salons offering an extended range of services.

This 12 month apprenticeship is designed for those who want to work in a beauty therapy role and can lead to an Advanced Level Apprenticeship.

Depending on the pathway followed and level achieved, learners completing an apprenticeship will undertake roles such as: junior beauty therapist, manicurist or skin care and makeup consultant (Intermediate Level), beauty therapist, electrolysist or masseur/ masseuse.
