“I began on the Multiskills course to get a taste of the different trades. I love using my hands, so I found learning the basics of plumbing, carpentry and brickwork really interesting – you pick up skills that will stay with you forever.

“I chose to progress with the plumbing course as for me it was the most challenging. We began by learning about health and safety in the workplace which is crucial before you step into the workshop. After that we were taught everything from pipe bending to installing complex bathroom systems. You learn how to use all the latest tools and how to work in a team. It’s brilliant!

“I loved every minute of my course. The lecturers are friendly and helpful and are always there to help with any problems or queries. We went to some amazing industry trade shows where you learn all about the latest technology and innovations. I’m so happy that I chose the plumbing course and can’t wait to be working full-time in the industry.”
