Since graduating, Joy is now completing her BA in Performing Arts at Hertfordshire University. A talented performer and writer, she’s looking forward to an exciting career in the TV and film industry.

“I performed in so many shows on the HND course that my ability and confidence improved dramatically. Our group was such a good mix of people and we all really pulled together during rehearsals and live performances.

“The course lecturers are amazing as they teach you so much about the theory behind acting and how to improve your performance. We’re even taught about presenting a professional CV and the business side of theatre. It’s great preparation for a career in the industry.”

Actor: Morgan Freeman, because he has great emotional engagement.
Film: Sister Act – it’s a great feel-good movie with an amazing soundtrack.
Personal performance: ‘Into the Woods’ as I had the lead role!
West End Show: Phantom of the Opera for its beautiful choreography.
