“It was the high success rate at West Thames College that made me look at the dance courses on offer here. I wanted to go somewhere where I knew I could improve as a dancer and where the facilities were first rate. I haven’t been let down.
“The different styles of dance I’ve been taught have been so much fun. We’ve done jazz, ballet, contemporary dance, break dance, and we’ve learned all about the history of dance too. The lecturers are great and really help you understand the methods and theory behind a good performance. My posture and balance as a dancer has really improved.
“My favourite part of the course is performing in shows, and at West Thames we do so many! As part of last year’s Creative Arts Week, we performed a celebration of dance and music genres from the last 100 years which was brilliant!”
