The course encompasses specific massage techniques. Theoretical subjects will provide the knowledge needed to carry out your practical work. The course will give you the chance to work individually or as part of a team.

How will I be assessed?

You will be continually assessed through practical and written assessments.

The VTCT Swedish Massage Certificate will give you skills to work:

• At sports clubs and gyms
• In private practice
• In health clinics
• On health farms
• In holiday centres
• On cruise liners.

You may also wish to take short courses at West Thames College, or expand your career in beauty therapy or hairdressing.
