This practical, work-related course will enable you to learn about business, customer relations and financial control. You will also study specialist units such as personal selling, online business and administrative support. The course is equivalent to 2 or 4 GCSEs at grades A*-C and provides a good basis to progress to further qualifications.

Timetable: This is a full-time course. You will attend college for three to five days per week, Monday to Friday, usually between 9am and 5pm. You will receive your timetable when you enrol.

Home fee for 2010-11 £1265. In addition to the course fee, you will also need to pay an exam fee and materials charge. This course may be free if you are: aged under 19 years; in receipt of a means tested benefit or aged 19+ and you don't already have a Level 2 qualification. You should usually have 2 or more GCSEs at Grade D or above or a Merit or Distinction in a relevant subject at Level 1.
You will learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. You will focus on a particular area and develop a range of specialist skills and knowledge.
