This is a flexible course for those already working in a customer service role who wish to gain a recognised qualification.

Mode: Part-time

Start Date: Flexible one-to-one study by arrangement: start on a date to suit you.

Who is This Course For?
People who are interested in improving their customer service, administration and management skills.
Entry Requirements
There are no academic qualifications required to start the programme but you will be assessed to determine the correct level of study in relation to your actual workplace duties. You must be working in a customer environment dealing with the public.
About the course

The course covers the whole range of customer service skills and duties including:

  • Service delivery
  • Dealing with problems
  • Customer contact – face to face or by ICT
  • Customer service systems and procedures.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed by your own one to one assessor who will meet with you at times and places to suit, including in the workplace. You will present evidence to satisfy the requirements of the NVQ standards through a variety of methods as advised by your assessor.
Where next?
The NVQ certificate will be evidence to any employer that you are able to perform to the required standard in a customer service environment. You may also choose to go on to further study at a higher level.
