This course is design to help you towards a career as an entry-level information technology (IT) professional or personal computer (PC) service technician. The PC Support A+ course is the first step in your preparation. It will build on your existing user-level knowledge and experience with personal computer software and hardware to present fundamental skills and concepts that you will use on the job. You will acquire the essential skills and information you will need to install, upgrade, repair, configure, troubleshoot, optimise, and perform preventative maintenance of basic personal computer hardware and operating systems.

You should have experience in a computer hardware environment or have completed the PC Support Part 1 A+ course.
PC Support Part 2 (CompTIA A+)
PC Support Part 2 extends the knowledge and skills identified in CompTIA A+ essentials (operating systems) and troubleshooting. This course takes a hands on approach, focusing on scenarios in which troubleshooting and tools must be applied to resolve problems.
