On Wednesday 23 May, Catering VRQ 3 students visited local Teddington restaurant La Cloche to sample the delights of French cuisine. As part of their course, catering students are required to do a review on all aspects of a catering establishment – even the toilets!
It was a great afternoon as they sat for a three course meal, probing the owner about various details such as suppliers, whether food is locally sourced or imported, if fish was farmed or rod caught, etc.
Owner Julian is now planning a visit to the Feltham Skills Centre to sample our catering and has agreed to work experience placements in the future.
