Fashion Students' Day Out

On Friday 9 October, National Diploma and HND fashion students visited the Knitting and Stitching Show at Alexandra Palace; the definitive and best exhibition for lovers of textiles in the UK.
This year’s special exhibitions included Tom Lundberg, Susan Jarmain and Alice Kettle. Graduates from leading textile courses nationwide showcased their collections, giving a display of the most contemporary and cutting edge in textile artistry. Our students were able to meet practising artists and participate in practical workshops.
In addition, hundreds of exhibitors provide specialist supplies, selling everything from the most obscure hand-carved button to the zippiest computerised sewing machine.
