04 June 2012

On Friday 1 June, the Mayor of Hounslow, Councillor Pritam Grewal joined students, staff and local residents for the Feltham Skills Centre’s Jubilee party.
Held in the grounds of West Thames College’s second campus, the patriotic celebration included a delicious BBQ as well as fun activities including inflatable jousting, a coconut shy and a jubilee quiz. Local residents along Boundaries Road were invited along to join the fun, sample the delicious food and learn about the role that the Feltham Skills Centre plays in their community.
Councillor Grewal chatted with guests, staff and students and took time to cut a spectacular Union Jack cake made by the Skills Centre’s catering students.
The event was organised by West Thames College Student Service’s Hollie Gillen with the aid of the Feltham Skills Centre Students’ Union.
