On Friday 18 March, Motor Vehicle students at the Feltham Skills Centre raced Mini Z radio control cars as part of an enrichment activity.
Lecturer Scott Guyett, currently ranked number 2 in the UK and 26 in the world at Mini Z racing, arranged the day as a fun but informative way of demonstrating the concepts of slip, toe and camber angles. Students took turns in racing four different sports cars - including a Ferrari Enzo and Audi A4 RS - seeing who could complete the most laps in two minutes. An overall winner was declared for both a morning and afternoon session.
