Competition Terms and Conditions

1 Entry Requirements

1.1) No purchase of any kind is required for free prize draws.

1.2) Unless otherwise stated, only one entry per person will be permitted and multiple entries will be void and the entrant(s) disqualified.

1.3) Employees of West Thames College, their families and any persons connected with the Competition are not eligible to enter. West Thames College reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.

1.4) Late entries (i.e. entries received after the advertised closing date) will not be accepted.

1.5) West Thames College does not accept responsibility for entries lost, damaged or delayed in transit to the Competition address, nor for any problems related to computer systems, equipment or internet issues. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of receipt, nor will proof that an e-mail has been sent be deemed proof of receipt.

1.6) Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be void.


2 Judgements

2.1) The decision of West Thames College’s judges is final in all circumstances and no correspondence will be entered into.

2.2) In the event of disqualification, West Thames College reserves the right to select another entrant to take part in the Competition.


3 Prizes

3.1) All Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.

3.2) In the event of unforeseen circumstances, West Thames College reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal value.


4 Publicity

4.1) You acknowledge and agree that West Thames College may publish winners’ names on any media and make these available upon request to third parties. (Winners’ names are available on request by sending an SAE to the address published on this website up to one month after the closing date.)

4.2) Any personal data submitted by you will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and West Thames College’s privacy policy.


5 Disclaimers

5.1) West Thames College shall be entitled, in its reasonable discretion, to cancel a Competition with immediate effect without any liability.

5.2) The Competition may be declared void should a printing or production error in connection with the Competition appear in a publication or on this website.

5.3) West Thames College does not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by you in entering the Competition or as a result of accepting any Prize.

5.4) You acknowledge that the internet is not a secure medium and information submitted to competitions hosted on the West Thames College website may be accessed by third parties. West Thames College accepts no liability for loss resulting from an online entry to a Competition.

5.5) These Terms shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, English Law. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England.
