We are delighted to announce the appointment of our new student governor and Level 3 Media student, Haaniya Abdul Hakkeem, who brings both enthusiasm and a passion for student representation to the role.
This year, the college had the privilege of participating in MEI’s Further Education Maths Challenge, a prestigious competition for post-16 students working towards functional skills maths qualifications or higher grades in their GCSE Maths. The FE Maths Challenge, an extension of the renowned Maths Feasts, saw teams from across England compete in various mathematical disciplines, including problem-solving, comprehension, competition & recreation, and revision relays.
We hosted our annual Further Education Student Awards evening on 20 June, and it was a splendid celebration recognising the exceptional achievements of our dedicated students. This event serves as the cornerstone of our academic calendar, honouring students who have excelled in their studies, overcome significant challenges, and contributed to the success of their peers.
