This course prepares students for employment and focuses on computer applications and skills valued by employers.

  • About the Course

    You will study the following core units:

    • Improving productivity using IT
    • Understanding the potential of IT
    • Developing personal and team effectiveness using IT

    You will also study a mix of further units that include:

    • Using the internet
    • Spreadsheet software
    • Setting up IT systems
    • Database software
    • Optimising system performance
  • Entry Requirements

    2 or more GCSEs at grade D / grade 3 or above or successful completion of a Level 1 course with functional skills in English and maths.
