  • How Do I Enrol?

Visit the college on any of the above opening hours as early as possible to secure a place on your chosen course.

It’s important that you bring with you your ID and evidence of exam results (along with details of any loans or financial assistance you’re applying for if you’re aged 19+).

Already applied and received an offer?

Got the results you need? Just come along to the college and we’ll get you through the enrolment process – becoming an official West Thames College student, ready to start your course!

I didn’t get the results I need – What next?

We have a huge range of courses available at all levels, so if your results are lower than expected, make sure you still visit the college to enrol. Our Careers & Guidance team will help you discuss your options and help you get onto the right course.

Applied and not received an offer / I haven’t applied yet

Just come along to one of our enrolment days. We’ll make sure you speak to the right people and ensure that you’re enrolled onto the right course for you. Our Careers & Guidance team will help you discuss your options. You can apply and enrol on the same day!

  • What Happens At Enrolment?

This will depend on the course you’ve chosen and if you’ve already applied or not, but will include:

Filling in an application form (if you have already received an offer you skip this step)

Speaking with a tutor to check through your academic evidence (certificates etc), and confirm the course you want to enrol on

Enrolling you onto your course to make you an official West Thames College student - which includes taking your photos for your College ID card!

    You may also have:

English & Maths assessments if you are unable to provide evidence of your English & Maths GCSE grades. These assessments are not exams, they're just to check your current level so we can make sure you’re enrolled onto the right course.

A chat with our Learning Support team if required
