  • About the Course

    You will study:

    • Principles of electrical systems
    • Electrical installation technology
    • Health and safety
    • Installation of wiring systems.

    At least 2 GCSEs at grade D / grade 3 or above or successful completion of the Level 1 Diploma or a relevant foundation course with functional skills in English and maths.   • Progression

    This course provides a good grounding to go on to the City and Guilds Level 3 Certificate or an advanced apprenticeship. To gain the full electrician certificate you will have 4 years of industrial experience in electrical installations, and have obtained the Level 2 and Level 3 technical certificates or an NVQ Level 3.

  • Assessment Method

    Assessment will take the form of online multiple choice tests and practical assignments.
