ESOL Courses

ESOL Destination courses are for more advanced ESOL students and consist of 5 hours per week of English and 4 hours per week of vocational study which include Business and IT units at Level 1.

    Alongside an ESOL qualification you will study:

    • Business Meeting Techniques
    • Spreadsheet Software
    • Database Software
    • Understanding Business Communication
    • Understanding Customer Service
    • Preparing for work.

    The IT element of the course is taught using up-to-date computers and software.

  • Entry Requirements

    You do not need to have any previous qualifications in IT or business, but you need to have some basic IT skills. You should have a pass at ESOL Entry 3 or equivalent. You will be interviewed before you enrol on the course, and you will have a written assessment to establish your level of language and maths skills.
