This course provides an introduction to the motor vehicle industry and will enable you to develop skills in car maintenance. It is held in the specialist motor vehicle workshops at our Skills Centre in Feltham.

About the Course
Develop your understanding of how modern vehicles work with this knowledge-based course. You'll explore key systems including engines, braking, steering, suspension and electrical components, alongside essential workshop health and safety.
This course is ideal if you're new to motor vehicles or progressing from Level 1, and want to build the knowledge needed for hands-on training.

Entry Requirements
Applicants for level 2 - intermediate courses should have at least two GCSEs at grade 3 or above or equivalent and/or a pass in a relevant Level 1 qualification, or relevant experience for mature applicants.
Next move - Progress onto a relevant level 3 advanced course or onto an Apprenticeship or into employment.
