This course is designed for students with learning difficulties working at Pre-entry level. This may include severe learning disabilities alongside physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and/or medical conditions. As a result, students typically require continuous and highly individualised adult support to access learning, participate safely, and meet personal care needs.
We provide a range of specialised facilities and resources to enhance our students' learning experiences, including:
- Sensory rooms and immersive learning environments
- Accessible outdoor learning areas and gardens
- Highly trained staff, including speech and language therapists and occupational therapists

About the Course
The curriculum is built to support the PfA outcomes: Education, Independence, Community Participation and Health.
Our curriculum provides activities and experiences to build skills and achieve EHCP outcomes and furthermore to empower young people to be as independent and possible. For example, learning independent living skills such as basic cooking skills or working in our on-site Charity Shop. Our curriculum is designed to be flexible and responsive, ensuring that learning experiences are both functional and enjoyable.
- Courses run over a 3-day week – 9am to 3.20pm

Progression pathways will be discussed in the annual review of the EHCP, some options may include progression to Skills Builder Entry 1.
