For more than a decade, West Thames College has proudly partnered with the London Borough of Hounslow and leading employers to deliver the DFN Project Search supported internship programme—creating meaningful pathways into employment for young people with disabilities and/or autism.

Friday 27 March marks National Supported Internship Day, a nationwide celebration of the life-changing impact that supported internships have in opening doors to meaningful employment. At West Thames College, the day is a proud moment to reflect on over a decade of empowering young people to build skills, confidence, and successful careers.

West Thames College has donated 30 laptops to Hounslow’s Promise, a local charity led by Seema Malhotra, to help improve access to technology for young people across the borough.

West Thames College welcomed faith and community leaders to its annual Interfaith Iftar on the evening of 6 March, bringing together around 50 guests from different religious and community backgrounds to celebrate unity, understanding and shared values during the holy month of Ramadan.
