This day time intensive course allows you to study for a full certificate in laser and IPL.

About the Course
This qualification builds on existing knowledge and understanding of therapy skills and will develop an enhanced repertoire of technical skills.
The course includes learning how to: provide a thorough consultation with the client to formulate a specific course of treatment tailored to suit their individual needs, use laser and light treatments for skin rejuvenation and hair removal and manage the health, safety and security of the salon.

Additional Fees
For both the short and full year course, students will need to wear uniform.
£25.30 for new tunic if required.
In addition, a £50 epilation kit is required for full year course with additional units
(All costs are subject to change).

Entry Requirements
Applicants for Level 4/5 - Higher National Diploma should usually have at least one A level pass or relevant level 3 qualification such as a National Diploma, plus GCSE English and maths at grade C/4 or above or the equivalent functional skills English and maths at L2.
Next move - A Degree course or professional qualification or relevant employment at senior level.

Progression
When you have successfully completed this qualification you will be in a position to aspire to promotion as an advanced beauty therapist providing laser and IPL services within a beauty salon.

Assessment Method
Assessment will be carried out through a mixture of both practical and written assessments.
