West Thames College is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. Our thoughts are with her family and the nation during this difficult time.

The Queen has reigned since 1952 which is longer than any other Monarch in British history, and is a universally popular figure.

Tracy Aust, Principal, said: “It’s incredibly sad to hear of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. She was an amazing individual who made an impact on this country and will be remembered for her remarkable longevity. Her achievements during her lifetime are far too many to mention, but the selfless dedication she gave to duty and service is something I believe can inspire us all.”

West Thames College recently celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and we hope to announce a fitting tribute to Her Majesty in the future.
