Foundation Learning courses are designed to give you the skills to progress to Level 2. This course is for students whose first language is not English and is ideal for those progressing from an ESOL 16-18 course.

- Spreadsheet Software
- Database Software
- Understanding Business Communication
- Understanding Customer Service
- Preparing for work.
The IT element of the course is taught using up-to-date computers and software.

Entry Requirements
Applicants with no GCSE passes (or equivalent) or those not studying towards GCSEs will be offered a place on our Level 1 provision. To study on this programme students will need to demonstrate an ability to achieve Level 1 English and maths by the end of the course. This provision is appropriate for applicants with additional support needs and/or an EHCP.
Next move - Depending on level achieved, progress onto a Level 2 course, an Apprenticeship or employment.

Assessment Method
All units are internally assessed using a range of assessment methods such as case studies, written reports, presentations, and practical tasks.
