About the Course
The qualifications will support progression to further learning and ultimately to work in the construction sector. The qualifications are for: learners who wish to gain a good introduction to a specific trade in the construction sector, equipping learners with underpinning knowledge and skills specific to the sector.

Applicants should have either two or more GCSEs at grade D/grade 3 or above, a completed Level 1 qualification, or relevant experience (for mature applicants). Progression
On completion of your course you will have obtained the skills, knowledge and understanding to progress on to a higher level qualification in the same or similar occupational area or progress into employment in their chosen trade.

Assessment Method
The assessment requirements set for this qualification are multiple choice knowledge tests and practical assignments.
All units in this qualification are mandatory and learners must attain at least a pass in each unit in order to achieve the overall qualification. Achievement of this qualification will be assessed via a combination of knowledge testing and practical assessments.
