West Thames College is delighted to celebrate another student securing a highly sought-after industry placement with global pharmaceutical leader GSK.
Following the recent success of a student who completed a work placement with the company, the College is pleased to announce that Sophie, a dedicated Level 3 Year 1 Applied Science student, has now begun her own placement at GSK.
Sophie is only the second West Thames College student this year to secure such an exceptional opportunity with one of the world's leading pharmaceutical organisations. Based at GSK’s impressive headquarters on Tottenham Court Road, she will gain invaluable first-hand experience of working within a professional scientific and corporate environment. The placement will provide her with unique exposure to industry practices, helping to enhance both her academic studies and future career prospects.
The College is looking forward to following Sophie’s progress and seeing how she develops throughout the placement.
