We are delighted to introduce the new cohort of 2024 Student Ambassadors at West Thames College. This fantastic group of students will play a vital role in representing our vibrant and diverse community, helping to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all.
On 17 October 2024, the Logistics Skills + Careers Hub officially opened at West Thames College’s Skills+ Logistics Centre in Feltham, marking a significant milestone in advancing the logistics industry in the region. Aimed at bridging skills gaps and fostering innovation, the hub serves as a collaborative effort between Logistics employers and the College.
In 2012, Ian joined Project SEARCH, a young man uncertain of his future, grappling with self-doubt and no prior experience in paid employment. Fast forward to today, Ian’s transformation is nothing short of remarkable. From his humble beginnings doing work experience in a bike shop - to his current role as a supervisor at Price Waterhouse Coopers in Canary Wharf, Ian’s journey embodies resilience, growth, and the power of perseverance.
