West Thames College is proud to announce that we have been named a finalist for The Careers & Enterprise Company Award for Excellence in Careers and Enterprise, sponsored by The Careers & Enterprise Company, at the 2024 AoC Beacon Awards. The announcement was made on 18 November at the AoC Annual Conference and shared across AoC’s national communications channels.

Logistics Hub Launches Industry-Approved Railway Engineering and PTS Training

West Thames College's Logistics Hub is proud to announce a strengthened partnership with Rail Futures Network Ltd to deliver a comprehensive, industry-approved Railway Engineering and Personal Track Safety (PTS) training programme. Designed to meet national and Network Rail standards, the programme equips learners with the technical skills, hands-on experience, and safety knowledge required to begin a successful career within the rail sector.

AoC Awards 2025 Beacon Commended

West Thames College is delighted to have been named as a commended college in two categories of the 2025/26 Association of Colleges (AoC) Beacon Awards. The college has been recognised for its outstanding work in both Careers and Enterprise and ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages). Finalists will be announced at the AoC Annual Conference on 18 November.
