Skills Bootcamps offer FREE training to help you develop new skills that employers are looking for. They are a great opportunity to train in a new industry or progress in your current career. To be accepted onto this course you must be aged 19+, living in London, with the right to work in the UK, and not in full-time education during the Bootcamp.
In addition, you need to have a good level of English and a willingness to learn. As you will be working with vulnerable people, roles within the sector typically require a clear Enhance Disclosure and Barring check, employer induction and evidence of specific immunisations as per employer policy.
This is a 10 weeks course with three intakes and you will need only choose one from the intake below and to be available to start the course at the beginning of your chosen cohort and remain for the duration.
- Intake 1: starts on 06th October 2025 and ends on 19th December 2025
- Intake 2: starts on 05th January 2025 and ends on 20th March 2026
- Intake 3 starts on 02nd March 2026 and ends 15th May 2026

- Principles of safeguarding and protection and duty of care
- Person-centred approaches
- Employability Skills/ readiness: You will be supported to develop your readiness for job interviews throughout the course.
Lesson times
10 weeks- blend of face to face at West Thames College, Isleworth campus (London Road. TW7 4HS) and remote sessions via Microsoft Teams across three days weekly.
Monday and Wednesday – Face to face delivery from 9:30-3:00 and Tuesday remote via teams starting at 9:30.
What you will achieve
- NCFE CACHE L2 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care
- Employability skills workshop: CV writing, job application and mock interview
- Guarantee job interview with local NHS trusts and CQC-registered providers.
