It’s T Levels Week, and here at West Thames College, we’re excited to celebrate the incredible opportunities that T Levels offer to our students and the wider community. Throughout the week, we’ll be shining a spotlight on our T Level programmes, sharing inspiring student success stories, behind-the-scenes insights, and T Level highlights across all our social media channels.
What Are T Levels?
T Levels are a new, high-quality qualification designed for students aged 16–19 who want to combine classroom learning with real-world experience. They’re equivalent to three A Levels and are developed in collaboration with employers to ensure students gain the skills, knowledge, and practical experience that businesses are looking for.
Each T Level includes a substantial industry placement lasting around 45 days, giving students a head start in their chosen career or a strong foundation for further study at university.
Our T Level Courses
At West Thames College, we’re proud to offer two exciting T Level pathways:

T Level in Digital Production, Design and Development (Software Development)
Ideal for tech-savvy students who want to build a career in software development, programming, or digital innovation. You’ll develop your coding skills, learn about software design, and gain experience working on real digital projects. -
T Level in Health
Perfect for those passionate about healthcare and helping others. This course provides hands-on experience in health settings and covers the core knowledge and skills needed for roles in nursing, midwifery, and other health professions.
