West Thames College students once again demonstrated their mathematical talent and determination as they took part in the annual MEI Further Education (FE) Maths Challenge – a prestigious nationwide competition designed for post-16 learners working towards Functional Skills maths qualifications or aiming to achieve higher grades in GCSE Maths.

Students from West Thames College gathered to celebrate their graduation from the Voice for Locals initiative, a programme designed to equip young people with practical skills to support and strengthen local businesses in Hounslow and the surrounding areas.

West Thames College is proud to have achieved Good Business Charter (GBC) accreditation for the second year running, reinforcing its position as a national leader in ethical, sustainable and socially responsible business practices within the further education sector.

Hounslow Council is inviting local young people to attend a free Apprenticeship and Jobs Fair as part of National Apprenticeship Week on Tuesday 10 February at Hounslow House. The event will showcase a variety of exciting opportunities across apprenticeships, training, volunteering and more — and West Thames College is proud to be among the featured organisations attending.

E-Learning Staff from West Thames College attended the Bett UK 2026 conference last week, reinforcing the College’s commitment to enhancing digital learning and improving outcomes for students. The leading education technology event took place at ExCeL London and brought together educators, EdTech providers and sector leaders from across the UK and internationally.
