Sometimes the way to learn is to do

Since September 2015 in recognition of the outstanding courses we currently deliver for school pupils, West Thames College has opened the door to deliver full time courses for students aged 14 to 16. This programme gives students the option of studying core GCSE subjects whilst gaining a high quality vocational qualification at college.

While studying Music Production Jeniequa Evinti Quamin had ambitions of becoming a household name for her singing ability, fighting her way into the regional finals of the prestigious talent competition Open Mic UK 2014.

A great result for West Thames College students

Dakshin Wickramasinghe, ages 20 from Isleworth, was celebrating after receiving outstanding A Level results of BBB in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Dakshin is now awaiting an offer from St Georges University where he plans to study Biomedical Science.

We began with our Higher Education Graduation Ceremony on Wednesday 22 June to honour the successes of our students completing their HNC or HND courses.

West Thames College is aiming higher with Degree Apprenticeships

West Thames College is delighted to be partnering with the University of West London to offer degree apprenticeships for the first time. Two new Level 6 Degree Apprenticeships; the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship and the Digital Technology Solutions Manager Degree Apprenticeship were launched last month in front of an audience of local employers and academics.
